Salisbury, MD’s Evolution Brewing Company decided that they wanted to spice up their American IPA. To be more accurate, they decided to “fruit it down!” (Is that a phrase? It is now!) Pineapple juice transforms a usually citrusy, piney IPA into a tropical treat. The pineapple taste is carefully mixed in, eliminating the pine notes and seamlessly melding with the malt backbone.
