Beer of the Week June 19th - June 26th
This brew is a reformat of Lagunitas’ longtime Dogtown Pale Ale. First, they dry-hop it. (Now, remember! Dry-hopping gives you hop aroma without a lot of hop bitterness.) They then take Sanguinello Blood Oranges -- juiced and concentrated -- and throw them in. They exchange some barley malt for wheat malt, and bang! You get an aromatic, sweet citrus-forward ale with hints of pine in the back. It's quite fine brewing and possibly the best beer you won't be able to pronounce.
