Wine of the Week 9/18/18

Our new wine of the week is
La Lejania
Regularly $9.99/ On sale for $7.96

An intensely fresh Sauvignon Blanc from one of our favorite Chilean producers.
The La Lejania estate dates back to 1825, when founder Carlos Adolfo del Pedregal left his home in Asturias, Spain and settled in the heart of the Loncomilla Valley of Chile. After over 180 years in business the winery is now in its seventh generation in the hands of the del Pedregal family.
Chile is free of the majority of pests that can affect grapes and vines so the productive life of these vines is considerably longer than in other winegrowing countries. Many of the grapes still used in production today were planted 85 years ago.  Because Chile is phylloxera-free, all of the vines are planted on their own rootstock.
The La Lejania has rich, distinctive aromas and a fresh zesty finis, perfect for the end of summer!
