Back at the beginning of the 2010s, Bridgewater Corners, VT’s Long Trail Brewing Co. completed work on a new pilot brewery set to brew small batch experiments. Responding to their fans’ calls for a great IPA, they brewed the Limbo IPA and hit it out of the park, eventually shifting the beer into year-round rotation. The Limbo features a mildly sweet bed of 2-Row and Caramel malts that is light enough to highlight Long Trail’s first mix of Australian and West Coast hops — hops that form a beautiful harmony of tropical fruit and citrus notes. No need to sit on the fence. Grab one. Limbo’s one of those brews that just tastes good.
