Oatmeal Vanilla Milk Stout

We know, we know. We know your pain. It’s winter, so you’re looking for beers with a little something more to them, but it’s a Global Warming winter, so it's not cold enough (or not cold enough long enough) for you to really want to dive into something heavy. Enter BrewDog’s Jet Black Heart -- a Vanilla Oatmeal Milk Stout conceived in Scotland (and brewed at their American brewery in Ohio).

Black, Brown, Carafa, Pale, Wheat, Medium Crystal, and Extra Dark Crystal malts jam with Hallertau Taurus hops and lactose to make this sweet stout. From these ingredients, the BrewDogs tempt out flavors of cacao, roasted coffee and even deep fruit notes. (Think figs or dates.) They also throw in some vanilla, 'cause why wouldn't you. Plus loads of flaked oats chill the mosh pit making the mouthfeel silky smooth.
