Brouwerij Huyghe lies in Melle, Belgium -- right outside of Ghent, in the northeast -- and is in its fourth generation of family ownership. In 1988, it started brewing its most famous beer (the beer with the pink elephants), Delirium Tremens. 

Three different yeasts go into making Delirium Tremens. That's probably one of the reasons for the subtle yet complex mix of spicy hops, malt, spices, and esters. The richness of its flavor is deviously cut by a copious amount of tight carbonation which lends a crisp lightness to the overall beer. 

Delirium Tremens is one of those world class beers. And if you find its 8.5% ABV daunting, remember you can always buy our beers by the single bottle or can. (The 16oz can is perfect for delivering two restrained glasses for sharing!)
