Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager
Regularly $11.99 / Now on Sale for $10.96
Mexican Style Lager with Lime and Sea Salt
For the past few years there's been a craft beer trend for Mexican Style Lagers. We've let many pass by, but this version caught our eye.
Stone Brewing Company in Escondido is just north of San Diego, which, in turn, pretty much borders Tijuana. Thus, Stone claims to come by Mexican influence in their beer honestly. They've already put out their popular Xocoveza Stout, inspired by Mexican hot chocolate, and now they offer the Buenaveza as the other side of that coin.
The Buenaveza is a Mexican Style Lager -- a (usually lesser) derivation of the Austrian Vienna Lager. (Don't get us started. It's a weird story.) Stone takes theirs and adds actual lime and sea salt. Look for a sprightly sailboat of lime sailing on a sea of slightly sweet / slightly salty malt in the southern West Coast sun.

Sierra Nevada Barrel-Aged Narwhal (16oz 4P)
Regularly $21.99 / Now on Sale for $18.96
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout
"Deep in our barrel room, out of light's reach, our legendary Narwhal Imperial Stout rests in bourbon barrels for nearly a year. After aging, it emerges anew: rich with notes of oak, vanilla and coconut layered onto the Stout's malt flavors of dark chocolate and espresso. Enjoy this beast of a beer." - Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
