Beer of the Week! 05/18/21
New Realm Radegast Triple IPA
Regularly $18.99 / Now on Sale for $16.96
Triple IPA
IPAs have been a staple of craft brewing since the Craft Beer Revolution started. Double IPAs are so ubiquitous that often people don’t distinguish between the two. Much rarer is the Triple IPA. We’re surprised at how many people have not had one. Well, if you are the uninitiated, here’s your chance!
Virginia Beach’s New Realm Brewing Company originally brewed the Radegast Triple IPA in 2018 to commemorate the opening of their Atlanta brewery. That’s why they named it after the Slavic god of hospitality (not Radagast the Brown, the Tolkien wizard who likes to accessorize with bird poop). It’s now in its latest release.
The Radegast presents a creamy malt bill at its core that fills up your mouth with light notes of orange and peach betraying just a little bit of sweetness. The whole thing sits on a sizeable bed of Warrior, Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. The hops don’t overpower, but they’re still present enough to give a zing to Lupulin shifted hop heads.
