Unibroue Ce N’est Pas La Fin du Monde

Regularly $12.99 / Now on Sale for $11.96
Belgian IPA

For most people, the Belgian IPA started in 2006 when Belgium's Brasserie d’Achouffe introduced their Houblon Chouffe — a strong Belgian Pale Ale hopped the way we would hop an IPA. Since then, breweries on either side of the ocean have tried their hand at this hybrid style. Now, it’s time to enjoy Quebec’s Unibroue’s turn.

Based off of Unibroue’s La Fin du Monde, the Ce N’est Pas La Fin du Monde takes their legendary Tripel and replaces its hops with Galaxy, Willamette, Cascade, and Simcoe. Though you might expect fruit and floral notes from the Galaxy and Willamette hops, what really comes through on the palate are the resiny citrus flavors from the Cascade and Simcoe. It’s an old-fashioned hop profile that we don’t see much of in today’s world of juicy IPAs. Add to that funness the fullness of the Tripel’s malt bill packed with tight carbonation delivering a full head for your goblet, and you get one tasty, slow-sipping, hoppy Belgian-styled treat!

Bonus Beer of the Week (‘Cause “Double” doesn’t always mean “Trouble.”)

Alewerks Smiling Politely

Regularly $14.99 / Now on Sale for $13.96
Double IPA

The Alewerks Smiling Politely puts all the juiciness of a New England Style IPA into a regular Double IPA. This feat is due to the use of “copious amounts of Sabro and Mosaic hops” added late in the boil. Plus, it has one of the most fun cans out there, and that’s saying a lot for today’s beers.
