Spotlight on the Bingo Quad City B.A.

$15.99 for 16oz can four-pack
Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Quadrupel Style Ale

Bingo Beer Company sits right down the street from the Science Museum of Virginia. Although, the Children’s Museum of Richmond is just a hair closer, which must provide a ridiculous temptation for parents on an educational outing with kids in “Monster Mode.” ;P

The Quad City B.A. is an Abbey Quadrupel Style Ale that has been aged in rye whiskey barrels. To make this work (and Boy! does it work), it tastes like Bingo brewed an extra full-bodied Quad. It’s so rich — the better to handle the rye whiskey flavors.

The Quad and the rye whiskey turn out to be a great match with one’s flavors complementing the other. By the way, if you don’t like the taste of whiskey, don’t drink this beer. The whole thing tastes like you’ve taken a couple of fingers on the rocks and then dipped into them a warm piece of fresh, buttered, home-baked bread made with clover honey. We know you wouldn’t do that with your favorite whiskey, but imagine all those whiskey sting, creamy, honey amber flavors together. That’s what we’re talking about here.

The Quad City B.A. packs a wine-level wallop at 12% ABV, but it tastes so good, that we bet you’ll be glad to have it unpack that wallop on you.
