Wine of the Week 6/6/202
We are on a roll and we just can’t stop!
We have two new WOWs this week and you should treat yourself to both.
Blenheim On The Line White
Regularly $19.99/On sale for $16.59
(64% Sauvignon Blanc, 18% Rkatsiteli, 9% Chardonnay, 8% Petit Manseng, 1% Viognier)
Last week we featured the red so this week we are focusing on Blenheim's On the Line White.
This white blend is fermented in stainless steel and is full of stone fruit and ripe citrus and is exactly the fresh and lush wine you need right now. Again, a portion of the proceeds go to World Central Kitchen to serve healthy meals for first responders and others in need.
BONUS WOW
Kickin Rocks Lil' Albie Albariño
Regularly $19.99/On sale for $16.59
(93% Albarino, 7% Petit Manseng)
Nothing pleases us more than new VA wine
projects so we were thrilled to be introduced to this wine in 2021.
We have been enthusiastically recommending it ever since. Paul Fulcher and Zach Davidson met working harvest together at Early Mountain Vineyards in 2019. “A shared love for fermentation and their home state brought them together to try their hand at producing their own wines. With very minimal thought a barrel was purchased, fruit was procured and fingers were crossed. Lil Albie is their first and only wine of 2020, created out of a shared appreciation for Rias Baxias. The Albarino was farmed at Ely Vineyard in Madison County and picked early to retain its acidity. The Petit Manseng came from Early Mountain, adding a Virginia twist. They are excited to share this wine and are hard at work on the next Kickin Rocks endeavor!”
