Coming from one of our favorite importers of Spanish wines, olé and Brigado, this Tempranillo is a tremendous value. High altitude vineyard sites in DO Vinos de Madrid offer the right environment to temper Tempranillo’s eagerness to ripen. The grapes are grown in sand, limestone, and clay soils at 2400 feet and the resulting wine is lush and ripe with enough acidity to keep things fresh and to be extremely versatile with food. We don't know about you, but for us the end of summer can be a bit of a jumble, so we welcome any opportunity to keep things simple. A few bottles of Flaco will have you covered for weeknight meals of all sorts.
