Maine Another One

$7.99 for the 16.9oz bottle
New England Style IPA

“When we expanded our brewery in 2013, the stress was something, to say the least. I ran out of creative juice for a minute so I decided to have another one for inspiration.”

- David Kleban, co-owner & co-founder of Maine Beer Company.

We know Maine Beer Company for its IPAs. They do some other styles, of course. but we mostly only get their hop happiness. Specifically, in terms of IPAs, we’re used to them doing straight-up filtered, classic American craft IPAs. The Another One strongly breaks that mold.

With a malt base of American 2-Row Barley, Capapils, and Red Wheat malts (more flavorful than white wheat strains), the Another One comes at you so very unfiltered with Cascade, Simcoe, and (of course) Citra hops.

However, even though you could use those hops to whip up a West Coast Style IPA cocktail, Maine Beer gets a water slide of mellow citrus out of them. Just goes to show it’s not as much your ingredients as how you handle them. We guess that when Kleban runs out of juice, he has to make something juicy to get him going again.
