Red Wine of the Week

Tre Secoli
Osél Piemonte Rosso

Normally $18.99 /
Now on Sale for $14.96

Barbera, Merlot (Piemonte DOC)

How It’s Made:

Piedmont wine giant Tre Secoli makes this wine exclusively for one of our longtime distributors of Italian wines (and more) Siema Wines. Tre Secoli mixes sustainably grown Barbera and Merlot and ferments and ages them in stainless steel.

Why We Like It:

The Merlot fattens out the Barbera just a bit delivering a smooth, easy-drinking red. It’s the quintessential table wine.

White Wine of the Week

Les Funambules
Vins d'Alsace Muscat

Normally $25.99 /
Now on Sale for $19.96
100% Muscat (Alsace VdP)

How It’s Made:

Les Funambules are natural winemakers making organic natural wine in Alsace. This white is made from 100% organic Muscat, 70% of which they whole bunch press for 12 hours and the remaining 30% of which they macerate for 10 days. They bring the two parts together to ferment with indigenous yeasts before aging the wine for eight months, on lees, in stainless steel vats. Finally — in true natural wine fashion — they bottle it unfiltered with no added sulphur.

Why We Like It:

Les Funambules’ Muscat is a lovely, refined, citrusy white. It’s got a zippy, light acidic brininess while still keeping the clean pure “mountain water” freshness that you want in an Alsatian white. Like so many natural wines, it might not be for everyone … but it sure is for us!

Beer of the Week

The Veil
In Two Pieces

Normally $20.99 /
Now on Sale for $18.96 (16.9 oz can four-pack)
Double New England Style IPA 8.0% ABV)

How It’s Made:

The Veil brews up a cauldron of big old, phat-tastic double haziness and sprinkles in Citra, Motueka, Simcoe, and Nelson hops.

Why We Like It:

This DIPA is so juicy with a string of citrus hoppiness with like threads of silver woven through satin. It’s so hazy, you can almost spoon it out of the can. Like revenge, it is best very cold.
