Women And Wine
In many people's imaginations, the world of wine is still dominated by crusty old men, doling out points and opinions. In fact, many regions of the world are being led by women-identifying winemakers, winery owners, and critics. Our bookshelves are filled with Alice Feiring, Jancis Robinson, Madeline Puckette, and Dara Moskowitz Grundahl; and our wineshelves are filled with dozens of the most interesting wines on the planet created by women. Come taste a few this Friday in an evening curated by Elizabeth Broyles of Potomac Selections.
