We will be tasting wines from the Loire valley with Jeff Latchum from local importer Williams Corner Wine.
When we were selecting all the wines we wanted to stock on our shelves, there were sections and categories that could have hogged all the space if we had let them. Wines from the Loire in France were ones that we would have happily kept buying until there wasn't any room left for anything else. So, we are looking forward to a taste of the Loire this Friday night. We may have to add a new wine or two! Come check them out and tell us about your favorite wine regions.
We will be tasting:
Bergerie Anjou Blanc Tonnelle $15.99/Tasting price $14.39
A blend of Chenin Blanc (80%) and Chardonnay (20%). Fresh and elegant with white flowers and soft fruit.
Coing Chardonnay $10.99/Tasting price $9.89
100% Chardonnay with white fruits and minerality, the fermented wine is rested on it's lees until bottling and so has lovely full mouth feel and structure.
Les Vins Contes R16 $19.99/Tasting $17.99
Gamay all day, friends, Wine from a Sommelier turned wine maker who learned the natural wine making from Marcel Lapierre in Beaujolais.
