Five Reasons To Have a Coffee Beer Tasting
Coffee and beer have a strong, if non-intuitive relationship. Both have spent the last 15 - 20 years undergoing artisan explosions with the same thirst for taste and quality driving them. Many craft brewers are also coffee fiends. The two were destined to find their way to each other.
Coffee is most often added to stouts and porters, and the middle of the winter is certainly stout time. Let's enjoy them before the Groundhog's spring comes!
When the Groundhog didn't see his shadow, he probably started his day off with a good cup of coffee, and then after all the fuss was over, he probably had a beer to calm his nerves. Who are we not to follow his example?
