This week we are tasting wines chosen by me, Siân!
I think most of you know me, but for the new folks on the list, I am Siân, co-owner and general manager of the shop. I have been with MSW since we re-opened in 2018 and for many years of its previous iteration, and for many years in wine shops and restaurants before that.
I am terrible at picking favorites. Firstly, I was a part of choosing every wine in the shop, so I like them all! Secondly, there is a wine for every mood, palate, and occasion, so if you ask me for my favorite I will probably just reply with several questions of my own. I have managed to settle on a nice array of delicous wines for this week's tasting, though. Hopefully something for everyone!

Outside of the shop I spend time with friends and family, and am working my way back to performance/theatre/artmaking slowly but surely. In the past I have performed at Live Arts, made large scale art carnivals at the IX building when it was still in ruins, I was a founding organizer of CLAW (Next match Oct 29!), and have made a bunch of original theatre, most recently a show with several performance runs including at the Edinburgh Fringe. So, that's a little bit about me. I hope to see you Friday and to hear a little bit about you. -Siân
