In 2023, Virginia was fifth in apple growing states. Both the Shenandoah Valley and Albemarle County are notable apple growing regions. It should be no surprise that we’re a state that loves its cider. Heck, it should be no surprise that we’re a shop that loves our cider.

With a long colonial cider making history, Virginia cider making cooled until recently. These last few years, Virginia cider has seen a Renaissance, producing everything from doggedly, unabashedly commercial-friendly brands to artisan ciders.
