This brew is Longmont, CO’s Oskar Blues’ take on the Scottish Strong Ale. Semi-sweet and complex, get ready for burnt caramel and coffee notes from beechwood-smoked malt, with just a tinge of hop sting at the very finish. Light bodied, but full of flavor, drink this one cool, not cold, to open up its more subtle malt flavors.
