Montinore Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 2017
Regularly $18.99/On Sale for $14.96

Rudy Marchesi became proprietor of the 210-acre Montinore farm in the Willamette Valley after many years of overseeing operations and as the vineyard consultant. Guided by a passion that was instilled early on by his Italian grandparents, and taking his experience as a winegrower, winemaker and wholesale distributor full circle, he became an early proponent of Biodynamic farming practices. Today, Rudy presides over the estate with daughter Kristin, who is leading the second generation forward as General Manager.

Montinore Estate was established in 1982 and is the largest producer of certified estate wines made from Biodynamic grapes in the country. Their estate vineyard is planted on an east-facing slope along the Coastal Range foothills and encompasses 200 acres in the Willamette Valley, three-quarters of which is planted to Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Riesling, Müller-Thurgau and Gewürztraminer make up the majority of the remaining acreage.

Seven different vineyard blocks on estate vineyards contribute to this wine's complexity, texture, and character.

Certified Organic, Certified Biodynamic.
