VA Beach’s Commonwealth Brewing says this dark Czech style Lager came out of cold conditioning “with a rich flavor profile.” Specifically we’re talking about the breadiness of a Bohemian Lager that leans towards pumpernickel once the herbal/spice hops and the dark malts bounce off of each other. This beer is perfect if you're looking for richer malt flavors as the evenings grow darker earlier, but you don't want a full-bodied beer like a porter or a stout. Remember, don't go into the light Carol Anne. The Dark is soothing and is your friend.
