Our first look at IPAs from Waynesboro’s Basic City Beer Company was the tasty The 6th Lord (an IPA fermented with Scottish Ale yeast). Soon to follow was The Lady. Not one to be pinned down The Lady has shifted into a couple of variants since her first appearance, but now her original ladyship has returned sporting a beautiful, new, orange gown. The Lady is an unfiltered IPA, made juicy by the Azacca hop, prized for giving off tropical fruit notes with a tinge of citrus bitterness. Pull out your gowns and evening suits. It’s time to go stepping out with the Lady again.
