This gose is an “East Meets VA” experience. Virginia Beach’s Commonwealth Brewing Co. was inspired to make this beer after tasting the cocktail of the same name concoctailed by the drinksmiths at Richmond’s Saison Restaurant. Commonwealth’s Villuminati is an unfiltered, salted wheat ale to which they have added lactose (for sweetness); Bangkok Green Tea; and the juice, zest, and purée of the Asian citrus fruit, the Yuzu. Why? Because that’s how you get interwoven layers of lemongrass, vanilla, coconut, and ginger. Get ready to take your gose game to the next level!
