Quinta do Crasto, which traces its roots back to the 17th century, was purchased by the current owner’s family in 1910.  This un-oaked blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional is the perfect summer red: fresh, chillable, light in body but not in power.  Perfect with anything you might happen to throw on the grill. Quinta do Crasto is located in the heart of the Douro valley and sits on the right (south-facing) bank of the historic Douro river, and the vineyards are planted on terraces carved directly into the bedrock.  Take advantage of this deal on a red you can drink even on the hottest day.
