The Beer of the Week is a cider!! Last year, C’Ville’s very own Potter’s Craft Cider launched their Bloom Series. This gem, their first, was an immediate hit, and now it’s back again! Potter’s throws in passionfruit to ferment with their apples, and they let them both go until they have dry, tart juice. They then dry-hop with the magic Mosaic hop, which — rather than bittering — lends its tropical fruit notes to the stage that the passionfruit has set. What results is a pitch perfect blend of fruit and tart notes. Better cool than cold, coincidentally this cider, like last week’s beer, is also great with sushi. Who knew?
