Just in case you missed the lowdown, our own Three Notch’d Brewing Company’s brewing a series of 12 New England Style (juicy) IPAs in order to experiment with various unfiltered, juicy combinations. They’re calling it their Nephology Series, and we featured No. 4 last week. At that time, we told you No. 5 was in the Three Notch’d tasting room. Well, now they’ve released it into the wild, so we figured we’d just roll with it! Where No. 4 was all about that juiciness, No. 5 is a dry brew that tames the juice to give room to bitterness from its Azacca and Green Bullet hops. Jump in No. 5 if you want the unfiltered creaminess without cutting loose with the juice.
