Double Dry-Hopped New England Style Double IPA

The New England style IPA -- hazy and juicy -- is still going strong. This one comes from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford, NY, just north of Manhattan Island. 

A development of their Galactic Fog, they double dry-hop the Interstellar Fog with Comet and Citra hops for aroma, but we'd be surprised if they were depending on those hops for the plush juiciness in this beer. But what do we know? Who knows what weird alchemy you can use to tease flavors out of those little buds? We're not brewers; we're just drinkers, and with this beer that's a relationship that suits us just fine. 

Dark enough for an ale, but made for a lager!
