Adi Badenhorst of A.A. Badenhorst Winery got tired of seeing great South African fruit disappear into Bag-in-box blends.  Together with Bartholemew Broadbent of importer Broadbent Selections, he created a new line of excellent value white and red blends called “The Curator.” Assembled from the many wine parcels in the Swartland available to the winery, the blend changes slightly each year. This year’s assemblage is dry-farmed Chenin Blanc, Viognier, and Chardonnay grown in granitic soil.  The yields are kept low, grapes are picked by hand, chilled overnight, and then pressed.  Incredibly bright and fresh. Stock your fridge!
