Bergerie de L'Hortus Rosé 2018

Regularly $17.99/ On Sale for $12.96!

Jean Orliac was a professor of Agriculture at the University of Montpelier in the '70's who used to scale the sheer, limestone cliffs of Pic Saint Loup.  He fell in love with the area, and, in 1978, purchased vineyard sites in the shadow of the Pic Saint Loup and the Hortus mountain to become the first winegrower in the valley in modern times.  Decades later, the Domaine produces red, some white, and one of our favorite rosé wines.  Harvested at night and vinified by the saignée method from Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and VERY old vine Cinsault, this is the best rosé deal of the summer.
