Three Notch’d Imperial Oktoberfest

Regularly $11.99 / Now on Sale for $9.96
Imperial Märzen Lager

Last April, the mayor of Munich and other event organizers cancelled Oktoberfest 2020 due to the likelihood that the immense, international public gathering would increase transmission of the COVID-19 virus and worsen the pandemic. So, no tents, no bands, no rides, no pretzels, no steins, and no beer …

… well, not no beer. Breweries are still making their Oktoberfest beers — bread, amber, lagers (märzenbier) and golden, light lagers (festbiers). Our own Three Notch’d Brewing Company is no different, re-releasing their Imperial Oktoberfest beer again this year.

A prodigious amount of malts and noble hops ramp up the bread and caramel flavors usually found in märzenbiers until this brew almost tastes like a light-bodied Scottish ale. No need to worry, though, the Imperial Oktoberfest is all lager so that you don’t have to distance yourself from beer’s biggest celebration.
