Spotlight on Maine Beer Company

Maine Beer Company started with two brothers brewing together in the early 2000s and delivering their beer door-to-door before the term “nano-brewery” had been coined. Their unlikely business model at the start was to brew just one beer very, very well and to stick with that. You can still feel that initial directive shaping them today. Maine only brews a handful of beers and doesn’t brew many of them, but the beers are just plain good.

We’ve been fortunate to keep a steady supply of at least some Maine beer. (Recently, it’s been their über-excellent IPA the Lunch.) If you’re over the haze craze, or if you just like good, solid hop forward beers (and the occasional stout), then treat yourself to 16 ounces of greatness that still come in a bottle.
