Casa de Mouraz Dão Branco
Regularly $20.99/On sale for $18.89
(Encruzado, Malvasia-Fina, Bical, Cerceal-Branco, Rabo-de-Ovelha, Fernão-Pires, Uva-Cão, Síria and others)

This Dão DOC white wine is co-fermented using native yeasts in stainless steel and is kept 8 months on its lees. It is one of our favorite sleepers! Tucked quietly away in the Portuguese section, made largely of grape varieties you likely haven’t heard of, and then rewarding your curiosity by punching quite a bit above its price point. Bright lean acidity offsets the lovely fruits and rounded texture. Certified organic and biodynamic.

Tenuta di Ceppaiano Castellani Keith Haring Toscana
Regularly $29.99/On sale for $26.99
(60% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Merlot)

In 1989, the Castellani Family, owners of Tenuta di Ceppaiano, invited Keith Haring to Pisa to create what would become one of his most important, permanent public works, the monumental mural “Tuttomondo.” This work was his final mural before his death the following year. Haring, out of gratitude for the commission, gave the Castellani family a wine label, one originally designed for the house wine at a friend's restaurant, but one he hoped would one day adorn one of the fine Ceppaiano wines. More than 30 years later, any legal issues have been resolved, and the label finally sits on this delicious Tuscan blend. All proceeds from the sales of this wine go to support the Materia Prima Foundation, run by family scion and art patron Piergiorgio. The Foundation provides residencies for young artists at the beautiful family villa. Smooth and rich and perfectly timed for some cooler nights.
