From Richmond, the Proustian Moment is Bingo Beer Company’s bready Imperial Stout that they tend to let sit in some type of sprits’ barrels, a practice which we thoroughly applaud. This time around, the Proustian Moment has spent a year aging in bourbon barrels from Woodford Reserve, which has been making bourbon in Versailles, KY since 1812.

The Proustian Moment in Woodford Reserve is a soft bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout. The breadiness of the stout cushions the bourbon flavors to give you a pillowy experience. Chocolate and vanilla notes abound with little hoppiness to get in their way. This semi-sweet bourbon barrel-aged stout is so very easy to drink and is even easier to enjoy.
