Aslina Skin Contact Chenin Blanc
Regularly $29.99/On sale for $26.96
(Chenin Blanc)

Ntsiki Biyela founded her winery Aslina in 2016.
Ntsiki grew up in a rural region and her interest in wine was sparked shortly after graduation from highschool. She had spent a year working as a domestic worker when she was awarded a scholarship to study winemaking at Stellenbosch University. After receiving her degree, each opportunity she earned (taking her around the world) inspired her further to create her own wines. Her winery is named for her grandmother who had been a guide and an inspiration to her. This Chenin Blanc has the lovely honeyed characteristics you expect from the grape and the maceration on skins adds texture and structure.

Maison Noir Bottoms Up
Regularly $23.99/On sale for $21.59
(Riesling, Muller Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer)

Maison Noir was founded by André Hueston Mack in 2007 as a “lifestyle” project offering t-shirts (inspired by hip hop, punk, and 90’s skate cultures) and Oregon wines. The wines were initially intended for a handful of NYC restaurants where André had formerly been the Sommelier, but luckily, now we can all get them! The Bottoms Up is a Riesling heavy blend full of lush stone fruits, racy acidity and just enough residual sugar for balance and generousity. It is immensely drinkable and a can’t lose choice for warm weather sipping and all sorts of meals.
