Bodegas Arreaz, located in Valencia, has a history going back 68 years.
Toni Arráez Calabuig is the third generation to lead the winery and in 2007, when he took over he brought with him a modern and irreverent approach to the wines. The main focus of the winery is to represent the best expression of the grapes from the Levante region and to highlight approachable wines in an unpretentious way. The Canallas line is meant for casual everyday drinking. Easy going enough for cocktail hour and flexible with food. The red is a “Joven” style meant for immediate enjoyment and full of plump fruit. It gets four months in oak which adds a bit of richness and spice. This is great wine to stock the pantry for weeknight meals, evening porch hangs, and to ensure you don’t show up at your friends houses empty handed.
