Las Jaras Superbloom Cuvée Zero Zero Carbonic Pink
Regularly $34.99/On sale for $31.49
(21% Mourvèdre, 19% Marsanne, 15% Roussane, 14% Carignan, 11% Viognier, 10% Grenache Noir, 7% Grenache Blanc, 3% Picpoul Blanc)

Superbloom is named after the proliferation of blooms that sometimes (seemingly magically) appear in desert areas after a particularly rainy winter. Las Jaras releases this wine in spring as a sign of the warmer bloomy-er times to come. Co-fermented white and red Rhone varietals comprise this complex “pink” wine full of spring and summer fruits, texture, fresh acidity, and a mineral finish. At the time we are choosing to feature Superbloom we have been in a run of long grey days and so maybe we are hoping it will work its magic here in Cville and bring us the sun. It certainly has the ability to bring on a sunny mood! Organic, lower alcohol, zero additives.

Filipa Pato Bairrada Tinto Baga Território Vivo
Regularly $29.99/On sale for $26.96
(100% Baga)

Filipa Pato is one of our favorite Portuguese producers and is a collaboration between Filipa as winemaker and her husband William who comes from a sommelier/restaurant background. They focus on indigenous grapes and biodynamic farming practices to make vinhos autênticos sem maquilagem – “Authentic Wines Without Makeup.” This wine is 100% Baga, a grape used in the (in)famous value wine, Mateus rosé. Thankfully producers like Filipa Pato are giving the grape its full due in complex, rich and elegant wines like this one.
