Borgo Paglinetto was founded in 2008 on 28 hectares in the Alta Valle dell' Esino in the Marche region. It is an organic winery (both the vineyard and the cellar) situated in a valley in the hills of Matellica. Their Terravignata wines are meant to be balanced and easy going. The rosso (the sibling to last week’s Verdicchio) is exactly that. It has juicy dark fruits and some herbal notes. It is rich and savory, but lively enough to make for a great summer weight red.
