Red Wine of the Week

J. Denuzière
Les Sérines
Côtes du Rhône

Normally $24.99 /
Now on Sale for $18.96

Syrah, Grenache (Côtes du Rhône AOP)

How It’s Made:

Working terraced vineyards, held in by granite stone walls, in the northern Rhône’s Condrieu region, winemaker Caroline Moro makes wine with the heart of a scientist and the intuition of an artisan. This red is mostly her own Syrah with some additional Grenache which she vinifies with minimal intervention.

Why We Like It:

It’s light-bodied and refreshing and an opportunity to have a Rhône red that isn’t from the Grenache dominant south. Moro’s Syrah delivers peppery raspberry fruit sitting in a basket of light tannins.

White Wine of the Week

Vignerons du Sieur d’Arques
Saint-Hilaire
Blanquette de Limoux Brut

Normally $22.99 /
Now on Sale for $18.96
Mauzac, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc (Blanquette de Limoux AOC)

Cool Fact:

The monks of Limoux in the foothills of the eastern Pyrenees mountains were making sparkling wine a hundred years before people in Champagne developed the method!

How It’s Made:

Though Chardonnay is the prime grape of Champagne, Limoux sparklers are made almost entirely of the local Mauzac grape.

Why We Like It:

This wine is a bright, dry, delicious sparkler with green apple and pear notes that we love to introduce to people.

Beer of the Week

Grimm
Day of Radiance

Normally $18.99 /
Now on Sale for $17.96 (16.9 oz can four-pack)
New England Style IPA (6.7% ABV)

How It’s Made:

Brooklyn’s Grimm Artisan Ales makes our latest NEIPA from them with a balanced duo of Citra and Luminosa hops.

Why We Like It:

The Luminosa hops provide notes of mango and pineapple contrasted by Citra adding a refreshing citrus crispness. Their balancing act makes this brew. It’s just what we’ve come to expect from Grimm - a light-bodied NEIPA that favors hop flavor over hop bitterness for a refreshing, very drinkable brew.
