Wednesday Night Beer Tasting: New Stuff

  • Market Street Wine 311 East Market Street Charlottesville United States (map)

Five Reasons to Do a New Stuff Tasting

  1. Modern Times Brewing Company comes to us all the way from the Point Loma neighborhood in San Diego. Going since 2013, today they're not only beer brewers but coffee roasters. We just have their beer. You should try it to see if that is enough.

  2. We've been fans of Hardywood Park Brewing Company's beer since from before they expanded out of Richmond into our little town. When we heard that they had put out a New England Style IPA, we just had to try it. Maybe you feel the same way too.

  3. Where many breweries take an existing beer and age it in bourbon barrels, Harrisonburg's Brothers Craft Brewing created the base stout for their barrel-aging line. You've just got to taste it to see if such attention to detail was worth it.

  4. With the weather all over the place, we'll have to look for other events to signify what season we're in. For us, it's just not winter if this year's Bigfoot barleywine doesn't come out. Is it as good as last year's? Better? Only a tasting will tell.

  5. They're good! (But don't take our word for it.)
