Five Reasons to Do a Dogfish Head Tasting
'Cause with all the great new breweries, it's always good to remind ourselves of the great old ones.
'Cause, speaking of "old breweries" ... having been around since 1995, Dogfish Head is one of that first generation of great American craft brewers. They should know a little bit about what they're doing by now. ;)
'Cause Dogfish Head remains a brewery dedicated to ridiculously inefficient brewing techniques; high quality, obscure ingredients; and the kind of "why not?" attitude that produces "off-centered beers." And we happen to have some of their more "off-centered" options right now.
'Cause almost a year ago, the Milton, DE stalwart independent merged with Boston Beer Company (makers of Sam Adams beers) to shore up each against the threat of either being overrun or gobbled up by the big conglomerates. We should check in with them to see how the beer is tasting.
'Cause they're Dogfish Head! They're good!
