Hello friends,
We want to make sure you have the opportunity to taste these lovely wines, and still feel safe, so we have decided this weekend to expand our “Friday” tasting hours significantly!
We hope this gives you more choice about when to come, and helps to reduce our crowds on Friday night!
We will open our tasting wines at 3:00 pm on Friday for anyone who cares to get a head start on tasting, and we will keep them open (and on sale!) through Saturday, as long as supplies last.
You are still welcome to come by during our normal tasting times (5pm-7:30pm) and Kyle Boatright will still be here during that time, but Siân and Thadd will be available all other times to delve deep into the Nebbiolo with you!
We are going to try this way of doing things this weekend, and see how it goes. Rest assured, we will continue to put the safety of customers first, and continue to adapt to changing circumstances.
Thinking of our friends in northern Italy, let us raise a glass to their safety, and to help the winemaking community not suffer too much!
Join us and our friend Kyle Boatright to taste a selection of wines made from Nebbiolo. Three from Nebbiolo's native home, the Piedmont, and one from Valtellina in the far north of the Lombardy region.
Friday tastings are free and a great way to choose some new wines to take home with you!
Wines to be tasted:
Proprietà Sperino, Coste della Sesia Rosato Rosa del Rosa $16.99
Aldo Rainoldi San Gregorio Rosso di Valtellina Nebbiolo $28.99
Monchiero Carbone, Sire Langhe Nebbiolo $25.99
