Our wine of the week will be arriving in the shop Weds afternoon.
Coming from a cooperative winery established in the Campo de Borja (northern Spain) in 1945, this Garnacha is rich with ripe red and black fruits followed by spice and a bit of toasty oak. The grapes are late harvest and the amount of time the wine spends in oak is adjusted according to the vintage to ensure that the fruit is never obscured. As the nights get chillier (finally) we start to develop a taste for heavier and plumper reds and this one came through the shop right on time. Sustainably farmed.
